The Irks was a group which met weekly in the summer of 2019. We gathered together to share what irked, annoyed, frustrated us. What really got our goats!

 

To begin we explored our irks in a number of ways, which included making graphic scores, poster making, performance and sculpture. Working individually and collaboratively, the group chose to turn their ideas for irksome scenes into a video, co-producing a chain of vignettes using text, scripts, gestures, and puppets.
